Papunya Tula Artists is wholly owned by Western Desert artists, with around 120 active artists. Every work carries story and provenance. The company needed a custom storefront with real editorial weight, and an end to manually re-entering artwork details from their SAM inventory platform.

How we
did it
We designed and built a custom Shopify theme with gallery-grade typography and space, dedicated artist profiles and the provenance details collectors look for.
The store connects directly to SAM, so new artworks, artist records, stories, dimensions and prices flow into Shopify automatically and the gallery team manages everything in one place.
The outcome
Papunya Tula now has a storefront worthy of a fifty-year legacy, and a catalogue that keeps itself up to date.
