Community sports club, Croydon (since 1972)
Croydon Sports Club
A community club since 1972, with bowls, an Italian restaurant and an upgrade on the way, needed a website that feels like the local it is.
The challenge
What needed
solving
Croydon Sports Club has been part of its community since 1972, offering barefoot bowls, Boffa's Italian, a bar with happy hour and regular raffles. With a development approval in place for a club upgrade, the website also needed to keep members informed about what is coming next.
- Website design and build
- Bowls and dining pages
- What's On raffles and promotions
- Club upgrade news section
- Membership join and renew
- Opening hours and visit information
Our approach
How we
did it
We designed a warm, local feel around what the club does best: bowls, Boffa's Italian and the bar, with opening hours and menus easy to find, and the weekly raffles and promotions clearly listed.
A dedicated section shares news about the approved club upgrade, and the site is built on the shared Holman Barnes Group design system so membership works the same way across all three venues.
The outcome
Croydon Sports Club has a website that reflects its community feel, keeps regulars up to date and gives members a clear view of the club's next chapter.
